Born and raised in Washington State, Juliann moved to Colorado 15 years ago.

The community of artists living nearby sparked a lifelong desire to paint.

An artist friend gave her“some good watercolor paper” and introduced her to the Northlight Book Club.

Juliann taught herself to paint from books she ordered from the Book Club.

She lives with her woodcarving artist husband, Justin and their two children, Jacob and Josey Rose.

Juliann’s other interests include spinning wool into yarn,

crocheting and knitting, jewelry making and operating the family gift shop.
